The aims of the Network are
• To maintain a voice to continue dialogue
with government and churches
• To share and disseminate information
• To maintain connections and provide
opportunities to participate in reconciliation
events
• To provide connections for people who
experienced abuse whilst in the care of
church or state institutions, foster care, youth
detention centres and those who as children
were placed in adult mental health
institutions.
• To promote affirmative action and ensure
recognition of the lifelong impact and
disadvantage of being a former child in the
care of the state.
